Our client, a renowned and independent investment firm with international reach, is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to strengthen the finance team of its Private Equity division. This investment firm is also involve in Infrastructure and Real Estate strategies.
Supervising a Luxembourg-based accountant and overseeing the accounting of two management companies and a holding structure.
Coordinating and reviewing quarterly invoicing processes and participating in the preparation of annual financial statements.
Compiling reporting packs and overseeing the consolidated reporting of a perimeter including approximately 40 entities.
Reconciling intercompany balances and managing consolidation controls using dedicated software.
Following up on external audits and calculating management and performance fees as well as related rebates.
Assisting with the annual budget, performing P&L forecasts, and monitoring quarterly results.
Producing various financial and regulatory reports, including for AIFM compliance (CSSF, AMF).
Managing tax-related issues including VAT and corporate income tax filings.
Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory deadlines for filings and declarations.
Contributing to continuous process improvement and operational excellence initiatives within the finance team.
A Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit or Management.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial industry (e.g. auditor, fund accountant, fund controller, or middle office professional, ..).
Knowledge of alternative investment structures (Private Equity, Real Assets) is considered an advantage.
Strong command of financial reporting standards and consolidation processes.
Bilingual fluency in English and French is essential.
Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with accounting/consolidation software are preferred.
