Field Application Scientist - Global Scientific Engagement - Italy, ItalySomaLogic is seeking a dynamic Field Application Scientist based in Italy to support biomarker discovery platform, the SomaScan Assay, SomaSignal Tests, and related pipeline products.The Field Application Scientist will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented commercial and technical group providing installation and support for authorized sites, technical presentations, laboratory development activities, and scientific support of SomaLogic''s core products. The work requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of SomaLogic''s technologies, and deep knowledge of client applications.This position reports to the Director, Global Scientific Engagement.Key Job Responsibilities:Site setup, training, and support for SomaLogic authorized sitesSupport and train external clients in using SomaLogic''s core technologiesPlan and guide onboarding processes for the commercial teamPresent SomaLogic technology at scientific meetings and conferencesCreate training materials (PowerPoint, whitepapers, technical notes)Deliver technology presentations to potential clientsPerform equipment inspections in laboratory settingsSupport the commercial team and customers with technical knowledge and troubleshootingAssess laboratory capabilities for technology transfer opportunitiesRepresent SomaLogic at trade showsContribute to a growing team for new-to-market productsRespond to client inquiries via phone and emailTroubleshoot protocols in client labsTrain sales team members on messaging as appropriateDocument technical inquiries in SomaLogics Salesforce systemPerform additional duties as directed by the head of scientific engagementSkills & Requirements:Education and Experience:MS degree in life sciences or related field; PhD preferredMinimum 3 years of customer support experienceAt least 7 years laboratory experience, including site installation and cross-functional teamworkProficiency in MS OfficeExperience in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries preferredExperience in training others preferredFamiliarity with CRM systems preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentEEO Statement:SomaLogic is an equal opportunity employer.
