Job Description:Justification for request:Broadening of FCS development programs requires an immediate action toward FCS team reinforcement and introduction of resources with adequate level of expertise.Job description:The role is within Flight Control Systems team, which is a part of the Aircraft System Integration area within the Engineering Directorate. The purpose of the role is to carry out System Engineering, RIG & Flight Test Integration activities, Certification within scope of Flight Control System development for Products Italy based.Areas of responsibility include:* Flight control system requirements capture, specification, validation and verification* Preparation of technical specifications and system documentation* Preparation of system test and reporting* Carry out system test activities at integration test bench, ground test & flight test on aircraft, including data analysis and troubleshooting,definition of flight test cards, briefing/debriefing, monitoring in telemetry, flight data analysis and troubleshooting* Management of safety process for FCS development, including Functional Hazard Assessment, Safety Assessment and Malfunction Flighttest activity* Management of Certification process, including HW/SW certification document collection preparation and Certification Authority interfaceRequirements:Education & Experience* Degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject: Electronics, Mechanics, Automatic Control and Aerospace Engineering* 2+ years Experience in Systems Engineering and/or Flight Control System developmentTechnical Skills:* Knowledge of the full Systems Engineering life-cycle as per ARP-4754 standard* Knowledge of Control Theory* Basic Knowledge of Electronics, Hydraulics, and Mechanics* Basic Knowledge of Aircraft and Rotorcraft dynamics and Systems* Basic Knowledge of Model Based Design Methodology* Familiarity with design, integration and verification of systems* Knowledge of systems engineering tools and methodologies for requirements management, system modeling, and dataanalysis: Matlab, Simulink, UML/SysML, IBM Rational DOORS, Serena Dimension CMSoft skills* Ability to communicate equally across multi-functional teams, and with colleagues at all levels* Proactive approach on project and in dealing with day-to-day tasks* Analytical and well organizedOther* Proficient in English language, both oral and written* Willing to travelSeniority:Primary Location:IT - Varese - Cascina CostaAdditional Locations:Contract Type:PermanentHybrid Working:#J-18808-Ljbffr
