Responsibilities / TasksBU HOM Service Business DevelopmentHere in GEA Mechanical Equipment Italy, as the headquarters of the Business Unit Homogenizer in the Division Separation and Flow Technologies of GEA, we are looking for a motivated candidate to join our growing Service Business Development team. Service is increasingly important, and our Service organization is continuously evolving to ensure the best customer experience. To maintain market leadership and a strong competitive position, GEA Service is transforming into a relationship-based service model. The Service Business Development office plays a key role in developing a more sophisticated Service Portfolio, including remote control solutions and new business models, to provide best-in-class Service Support. We seek open-minded and engaged individuals eager to contribute ideas and dedication to this evolution. The main work location is Parma, with a requirement to travel globally as needed.Fundamental TasksEnsuring deployment of Service Products across the global Service organizationProviding guidelines, Service Sales & Marketing materials, and procedures to local Service teamsManaging the Service Products PortfolioCreating quotations for upgrades and modernizationsService Product Portfolio TasksDeveloping the BU HOM Service Portfolio to align with customer demands, fostering effective growth for GEAContributing to the development of the GEA SFT Service Strategy and related productsSupporting the continuous development of digital service products and business modelsInteracting with other GEA Divisions and external parties to support GEA initiativesManaging Service digi & green products for the Business Unit EquipmentEstablishing effective product ideation and business plans for new Service ProductsCommunicationRegular coordination with relevant internal departments and GEA country organizationsCoordination with Service Management levels within the BU and DivisionCreating and maintaining communication channels for Service Product launchesYour Profile / QualificationsStudies in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualificationAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical technical drawings, manuals, and spare parts catalogsIn-depth knowledge of Homogenizer-related products and markets; familiarity with other GEA equipment is preferredAbility to independently steer initiatives and projects, motivating team membersCustomer orientationKnowledge of SAP is a plusAvailability to travel internationally approximately 20-30% of the timeAdditional QualificationsHelp Desk experience (preferred)Vibrations analysis certification (appreciated)If this opportunity interests you, please click apply above to access our guided application process.SummaryLocation: ParmaType: Full-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
