We are looking for a

Deputy Field Engineering Manager

The Deputy Field Engineering Manager will support the Field Engineering Manager in managing technical support to construction activities on-site, ensuring the effective operation of the Field Engineering Team. This role will act as the key site interface with the Home Office Engineering team and will be responsible for assisting in site technical services and engineering follow-up.The Deputy Field Engineering Manager will report to the Field Engineering Manager and cooperate closely with the Site Manager and Construction Manager to ensure the smooth execution of construction activities and the availability of technical documentation and materials.

Duties and Responsibilities:Assist the Field Engineering Manager in managing and reviewing overall engineering project documentation, amendments, and additions, ensuring alignment with project requirements.Support the review of technical queries and ensure any additions or changes to technical documents are made according to field requirements.Help the Field Engineering Manager in issuing specific construction documents necessary for the execution of activities.Provide support to the Construction Manager and Construction Team in constructability studies, project planning, and scheduling.Assist with the preparation and review of turnover/hand-over documentation during the project completion phase.Support in the supervision of the Field Engineering Team, ensuring effective collaboration and task execution.Step in for the Field Engineering Manager when needed, ensuring continuity of work and operations on-site.

Requirements:Minimum 5-7 years of experience in industrial construction EPC projects.Solid knowledge of surveying techniques, design, and engineering standards.Strong understanding of construction processes and technical documentation.Proficiency in English (knowledge of French is a plus).Availability to work on-site and willingness to assist in all phases of the project.Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with both on-site and office teams.
