To expand their team, they are looking for a Customer Service Officer, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support. In this role, you will be a key player in handling customer inquiries, coordinating service levels, and optimizing internal processes.
Job Description:
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for managing customer inquiries and ensuring an efficient and customer-oriented service. Your tasks will include:
- Managing customer inquiries: Responding promptly and accurately to customer questions through various channels and ensuring proper follow-up.
- Prioritizing cases: Assessing the urgency of customer requests and ensuring efficient resolution.
- Analysis & referral: Identifying complex issues and coordinating with relevant internal departments for a swift resolution.
- Handling escalations: Identifying recurring issues and reporting them to management.
- Service Level Monitoring: Ensuring agreed service standards and contract commitments are met.
- Exception handling: Managing special customer requests and finding appropriate solutions.
- Coordination with other departments: Collaborating with internal teams such as planning, sales, and operations to ensure seamless service.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum MBO level 4 or higher.
- Experience in the shipping, transport, or logistics sector.
- Experience in a customer-facing role within Customer Service or Customer Care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex situations clearly.
- Customer-oriented mindset with experience in relationship management.
- Positive attitude and resilience in challenging situations.
