British American Tobacco France hasan exciting opportunity for a Junior Legal Counsel in Paris Themain role scope is to provide legal advice and analysis to theorganisation, under the supervision of the Head of Legal France,ensuring that the company is empowered to keep acting lawfullygiven the strict local legislation, to protect the trademarksrights and to manage, in a proactive manner, the regulatory issues.Your key responsibilities will include: - Secure the full andtimely implementation of marketing and commercial programs withinregulatory local frameworks - Contribute to the preservation of BATreputation by serving as legal advisor of the business units of theCompany - Contributing to the maintenance of the BAT businessaccording to the BAT strategy - Comply and implement activities inaccordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating toenvironmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, andinternal EHS standards and procedures BAT group What are we lookingfor? - University degree in French Law - Fluency in French requiredand excellent command of written and spoken English language -Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a reputable law firm or itthe Legal department of a FMCG company, preferable in the tobaccoindustry - Proven very good knowledge of tobacco and consumerlegislation or experience in regulatory markets, antitrustlegislation, contracts management, corporate law, IntellectualProperty legislation and labour law; - Good ability to translatelegal concepts into an easily understandable format and tocommunicate them clearly, both orally and in writing, with alllevels of management - Experience in dealing with a wide range ofcorporate and commercial legal issues; - Ability to manage externallawyers in a range of jurisdictions. - Good analytical skills andstrategic thinking - User knowledge of computer skills (Word,PowerPoint, Excel) - Strong interpersonal and communication skillsacross a variety of stakeholders - Good commercial judgement; -Ability to work with tight deadlines What we offer you? - We offera market leading annual performance bonus (subject to eligibility)- Our range of benefits varies by country and includes diversehealth plans, initiatives for work-life balance, transportationsupport, and a flexible holiday plan with additional incentives -Your journey with us isn''t limited by boundaries; it''s propelled byyour aspirations.
