We are looking for a hands-on, proactive Shopper & Trade Marketing Intern, responsible for Southern Europe to support our team, which is currently comprising of 6 people. This is a unique opportunity to develop your (shopper & trade) marketing skills in an international environment. At BISSSELL you can make a difference and craft your career by showing responsibility and ownership for your own projects. You will be part of the commercial team, working closely between marketing, product marketing and sales. You will be supporting the Shopper Trade Marketing Team with in-store activities like POS material development and ordering, asset creation across multiple EU languages and creation of presentations and other overviews.
The internship is designed to start asap, for a period of ideally 6 months with the possibility of an extension. You must be an enrolled student, in order to be able to apply for this position.

IN THIS INTERNSHIP, YOULL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY
- Actively support marketing activations alongside distributors across European markets including in-store activities, digital initiatives and hero product campaigns
- Work with our in-house designer as well as external agencies to produce and localize assets including POS, digital, video and other types of assets
- Content management. Assist on activation request such as supporting the trade marketing team with asset creation, translations, monitoring and optimization
- Assist with the organization of internal and external events such as (Inter)national Trade shows, instore demonstrations, brand events etc
- Work alongside the finance department to manage purchase orders and partner invoices
- Collaborate across multiple functions in the company, like product marketing, performance marketing and sales
- Proactively monitor Marketing trends, competitors marketing activations, best practices and more to infuse into your and your teams work to continuously optimize results
- Work alongside the wider cross-functional business team to support when required (e.g. sales, logistics, customer service)
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- You will have the opportunity to work within an international office with colleagues of different nationalities and disciplines
- The small team and scale-up structure will allow you to influence the business and present your own learnings and ideas
- Ability to propose, create and implement new processes to optimize efficiency and overall output speed and quality
- How to work with agencies and distributor partners from different markets across Europe.
- How to plan and activate marketing projects in different channels (online/in-store/offline) and in different markets and languages
- You have the opportunity to manage specific projects independently
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Availability of 32-40 hours weekly for ideally 6 months, with a preference for extension
- Registered as a Bachelor or Master HBO/university student, proof of enrollment is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Preferably excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and/or Italian and/or Spanish
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) experience

- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple dynamic tasks

WHAT WE OFFER
- Intern allowance of 850 gross per month (at 40 hours, pro-rated for less)
- Travel costs can be reimbursed to a maximum of 223 per month
- 25 holidays (at 40 hours full year, pro-rated for less)
