KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
In this role you will provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement. You will manage and mentor senior operational staff, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed and achieve the goals set for the business unit.
One of your major challenges will be to foster effective cross-department working relationships between the various teams involved in the global processes of watches operations. Your deep involvement in Product Development will be key to facilitate and optimize industrialization and production processes. Your natural leadership will allow you to be recognized as a facilitator of effective communication and collaboration across the organization and all functions based locally and in HQ in Italy.
Your role also involves developing and implementing operational strategies aligned with Guccis overall goals and objectives. In this capacity, you will be responsible for translating and communicating strategic plans into actionable and measurable programs, respecting all compliance guidelines and Gucci global policies while adhering to local requirements and specific legislation related to watches.
Your ability for innovation and continuous improvement, together with your pragmatic spirit, will enable you to identify and pursue opportunities for growth. Your strong knowledge of the watchmaking and all associated industrial processes will keep you abreast of watch industry trends and best practices to maintain the Gucci Watches Business Unit at the forefront of operational excellence. Together with your team, you will promote and oversee all practices that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Your understanding of the business in its entirety will guide you to identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and drive profitability.
