The Role - TheMicrobiology Specialist will play a key role in the success of ourmicrobiology products by providing technical expertise, supportingbusiness activities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. - Thisposition bridges the technical and commercial aspects of ouroffering, enabling us to respond efficiently to customer needs andmarket demand. - This position is based in the Walloon region andreports to the Belgium Sales Manager. The Profile - Universitydegree in microbiology, biological sciences, or similar. A Master''sdegree is an asset. - Good understanding of microbiologicalprinciples, their applications, and industry standards. - Excellentcommunication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability toexplain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot). -Fluent in Dutch, French, and English, - Analytical andproblem-solving skills. - Availability to travel up to 30% of thetime. - Experience with diagnostic reagents and culture media. -Knowledge of microbiology regulations (e.g., ISO standards, FDAregulations, GMP). - Experience in technical training andfacilitating customer workshops. The Responsabilities - ProductExpertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of microbiologyproducts and services. - Commercial Support: Collaborate with thesales team by providing technical support. - Client Interaction: Bethe main technical contact in microbiology for our clients,responding to inquiries and solving problems. - Market Monitoring:Follow market trends and customer feedback to identify newopportunities and potential product improvements. - TechnicalDocumentation: Write and review technical documents, includingproduct specifications and presentations. - Product Launches:Participate in the planning and execution of new product launches,including marketing strategies and promotional materials. -Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, marketing, Life Sciences,and operations teams to align the product offering with customerneeds and company objectives.
