At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Create new PLC and HMI software based on requirements, existing Cytiva libraries and guidelines.Create, review, and maintain automation requirements based on customer requirements, including relevant regulations, standards, norms, or guidelines.Execute automation functions in projects, including writing design documentation, risk assessment, verification processes, cybersecurity, and related tasks, where coordination and oversight capabilities are helpful.Engage, collaborate, and indirectly influence resources to obtain consensus in a global organization, connecting with people empathetically, energizing and motivating teammates, and inspiring them to work toward project goals, all while complying with design controls, applicable regulations, GDP, and internal processes.Communicate development progress effectively to project teams and stakeholders, ensuring all automation requirements are addressed by the appropriate owners.The essential requirements of the job include:Multiple years of relevant experience and a Bachelor''s degree in Automation engineering, Software engineering, or related field. A Master''s degree is preferred.Expertise in developing software for automated systems (PLC/HMI software development - Siemens TIA Portal and PCS7) and emerging technologies (AI, MTP, etc.).Ability to work in a heavily regulated industry with a good understanding of relevant standards and guidelines (GAMP5, 21CFR11, ISA-88, IEC-62443).Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across all levels within a global, multidisciplinary team, including written and verbal communication.
