Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, since 1978, MSC is a privately-owned organization driven by the Aponte family.Since the end of 2022, we have started developing a new MSC Air Cargo solution in response to customer demand and as a complementary service to its container shipping solutions.To support the growth of MSC Air Cargo activities, we are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Trade Compliance Analyst. This position offers excellent opportunities for an individual to gain first-class, hands-on in-house experience supporting the Regulatory Affairs Director within the stimulating, multinational environment of a new global air freight company.The Operations, Regulations & Compliance function of MSC Air Cargo provides risk oversight, informs on the aviation regulatory landscape, and offers guidance to the business. We set standards and provide a framework for managing trade compliance risks, supporting MSC group ethics and compliance, and ensuring conformity across our supply chain, entities, and products.Responsibilities:Perform regulatory mapping, legal review, and business impact assessments for trade compliance and export controls related to air cargo.Establish a review and approval process for international air cargo shipment documentation and provide compliance support on import and export processes.Assist with level 3 escalation for air cargo compliance airway bill screening, including some out-of-hours work on a rotational basis.Coordinate false positive reduction (FPR) rules for automated screening software solutions.Establish and manage a framework for process design, reporting, and resolution of trade compliance issues.Create and maintain a global regulatory and compliance resource library for MSC Air Cargo.Qualifications:Education: Law or Business degree (LL.B. or equivalent); specialization in International Trade, Law, or related fields is desirable.Languages: Business-level English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.Data and software skills: Experience with Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint; familiarity with compliance screening tools is advantageous.Legal or compliance experience: Prior experience in governance, export controls, or in-house legal departments is beneficial.Interest in aviation and logistics industries.Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to create engaging, data-driven reports.Trustworthy and credible demeanor.#J-18808-Ljbffr
