We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Junior Brand Manager with 3 years of experience in brand strategy, product development, and portfolio management to oversee, among others, iconic brands like Stratego. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing and executing brand plans, launching new products, and optimizing existing portfolios to meet market demands. A strong collaborator across functions, with a focus on ensuring brand consistency and driving sales performance. Fluency in both Dutch and English is required. Key Responsibilities Brand Strategy Planning: Developed and executed long-term (3 years) and short-term (1 year) brand strategies in collaboration with senior brand managers and markets, ensuring alignment with company goals. Product Portfolio Management: Led the management of the product portfolio, including launching new products, optimizing existing ones, and redesigning packaging. Sales Performance: Proactively monitored sales performance, working with trade marketing and local sales teams to adjust strategies and ensure growth. Product Briefings Launches: Created and managed product briefings for new product development, packaging updates, and content creation. Collaboration Communication: Coordinated with marketing, sales, finance, legal, supply chain and product development teams to ensure alignment on product strategies and market needs. Market Research Insights: Supported qualitative and quantitative research initiatives to gather insights on market trends and brand performance. Training: Assisted in training internal teams on new product features and brand messaging to ensure consistent communication. Education and Experience Degree: University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor/Master/Diploma). Marketing Knowledge: Solid understanding of marketing principles, brand strategy, and product development. Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Deadline-Oriented: Proven track record of working under tight deadlines and ensuring timely delivery of tasks. Multitasking: Comfortable managing a variety of projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on quality and efficiency. Industry Affinity: Interest in JumboGroup products, with knowledge of the toy market being a plus. Language Skills: Fluent in both Dutch and English. Other languages is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar brand management or marketing role, supporting brand strategies and product development.
