RINA is currently recruiting for a Cyber OT/Marine Engineer to join its office in GENOA or MILAN within the Cyber Security and Management Consulting Division.MissionWe are currently looking for a Cyber Security engineer to expand our technical team. The person will be responsible for technical activities such as:Identify security risks within organizations and complex systems/architectures, especially onboard vessels;Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration tests in IT/OT environments;Design security measures and provide recommendations to improve security postures;Implement technical security measures, including hardening target systems/devices based on identified security baselines or requirements;Support customers in cybersecurity activities;Draft technical reports;Potentially develop software code/scripts and configure network devices using automated tools;Write technical documentation, including descriptions and test procedures.Key AccountabilitiesKnowledge of security aspects of main Operating Systems;Experience in VA/PT activities (personal interest or passion, e.g., CTF challenges);Knowledge of programming languages (Java, C/C++/C#, VB.Net, Python) and their interfaces with DBMS and development environments;Strong problem-solving skills;Excellent communication skills in Italian and English;Flexibility and multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment;Willingness to travel within the country and abroad;Knowledge of networking models;Understanding of cryptographic algorithms (SHA, AES, CBC, ECB).EducationBachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or Cyber Security; Masters Degree preferred.QualificationsDesired Requirements:Security Certifications such as GIAC/GICSP, ISA62443, CEH, OSCP, eJPT, PJPT, ISACA CISM/CISA/CRISC, ISC2 CISSP;Experience with security tools/platforms like automated configuration tools (Ansible, Puppet), vulnerability assessment tools, penetration testing applications, cloud security, cyber threat intelligence, Mobile Threat Detection, IPS/IDS, EPP/EDR/MDR/XDR, code security analysis, WAF, SOAR, SIEM, GRC;Experience in Red/Blue/Purple Teams is a plus.CompetenciesClient intimacy, trust-building, promoting sustainable development, managing emotions, pioneering change, building networks, making effective decisions, addressing the way, thinking forward.With over 5,600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries, RINA offers certification, marine classification, testing, supervision, inspection, training, and engineering consultancy services across various sectors, ensuring project sustainability from concept to completion.At RINA, we value every individual and promote a respectful, inclusive workplace.
