Regional Value & Access Lead, ADC, ItalyPrimary Objective of PositionThe Regional Value & Access Lead is responsible for access and reimbursement at the regional level. Assigned to a selection of named regions, the role involves developing market access strategies and implementing cross-functional action plans to achieve short and medium-long term market access objectives. The Lead ensures dissemination of the FSL ecosystem value proposition to relevant stakeholders, including policymakers, payers, Key Opinion Leaders, patient associations, and HTA experts, focusing on clinical, socio-economic evidence, and healthcare impact. They facilitate connections among stakeholders to secure or expand ADC product reimbursement and address external opportunities such as healthcare digitalization and primary care reforms. Maintaining and expanding relationships with key customers is also essential.Major AccountabilitiesStakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary contact and representative of ADC to regional payers, policymakers, patient associations, and KOLs involved in reimbursement and market access.Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders influencing regional diabetes care policies to ensure customer-centric approaches.Endorsement and Opportunities: Seek endorsements for ADC products and create opportunities for stakeholder support.Environmental Awareness: Understand regional stakeholder needs, anticipate changes, and assess impacts on ADC business, providing insights into regional healthcare environments.Networking: Develop transparent relationships across channels and levels to foster preference for Abbott Diabetes Care brands.Market Access Strategy: Develop and implement regional market access plans to expand ADC product reimbursement and access.Business Growth: Drive ADC business growth by overcoming barriers and leveraging opportunities to support sales and market share targets.Strategic Projects: Lead implementation of projects enhancing the FSL ecosystem, such as integrating sensor-based telemonitoring into regional guidelines.Contracting and Tendering: Anticipate and manage contracting and tendering opportunities, coordinating with sales to sustain access and profitability.Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to quality system requirements.EducationB.A. or B.S. Degree in Medicine, Economics, or Science. A Master''s degree in Medicine, Business Administration, Public Health, Health Economics, or Health Policy is preferred.BackgroundProven experience in engaging with healthcare stakeholders and decision-makers. Knowledge of the healthcare landscape, funding flows, and decision-making processes. Ability to develop and execute engagement strategies aligned with brand objectives. Strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.Impact of PositionThis role significantly influences revenue and profitability by managing reimbursement policies, which affect various healthcare stakeholders.
