As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working in hospitality projects while supporting our senior design team in various tasks. This internship will provide an excellent opportunity to build your portfolio, develop your design skills, and gain insight into the day-to-day operations of an interior design firm.Your JourneyAssist with Design Research: Research materials, furniture, color schemes, and trends to support ongoing projects.Concept Development: Assist with the development of design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.3D Modeling Rendering: Help create 3D visualizations, floor plans, and elevations using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other tools).Site Visits Measurements: Assist with site visits to measure spaces, assess design feasibility, and gather photos for documentation.Prepare Design Documents: Assist in preparing presentations, specification sheets, and design boards for client meetings.Vendor Communication: Help maintain communication with clients and vendors, including scheduling meetings and assisting with sourcing furniture and materials.Project Coordination: Support the team in tracking project timelines, managing samples, and ensuring design elements are properly executed.General Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks like organizing project files, updating project management systems, and preparing reports.What do you bring to your tripCurrently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Office.Strong interest in design trends, material selection, and spatial planning.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Strong attention to detail and a passion for creativity.Advanced English and Spanish level is required.Diversity and SustainabilityAt Olala, we take pride in cultivating a vibrant and inclusive work environment that celebrates individuality and diversity.
