We are looking for a Senior Electrical Database Administrator to join our engineering team and support large-scale EPC projects by managing and optimizing critical electrical database systems. This is a great opportunity to work on major international energy and infrastructure projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and bringing value through technical expertise and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and maintain the SEL electrical database.
- Manage user profiles, access rights, and ensure data integrity.
- Train and support users; identify their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Test and validate software updates, reporting bugs and proposing corrective actions.
- Develop methods, procedures, and documentation for efficient usage.
- Design and improve interfaces with other engineering IT tools.
- Act as a point of contact within the Electrical team and with other departments to ensure optimal integration.
Qualifications
- Background in Electrical Engineering with knowledge of electrical systems (consumer list, power balance, SLD, cable sizing and routing...).
- Strong IT/database skills, with prior experience using or administering electrical database tools.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and possibly clients.
- Fluent in English (minimum working proficiency).
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn and improve existing systems.
