A growing deep-tech company specialising in cutting-edge optical multi-gigabit automotive transceivers is looking for an experiencedRD Project Managerto support the delivery of ambitious product development programmes. With a strong technical roadmap and involvement in public grant programmes, this role is key to ensuring projects run on time, within budget, and in line with wider business and funding requirements.Youll be working closely with engineering leads across multiple RD functions, as well as external stakeholders including universities, research centres, and industry collaborators. This is a hands-on role that mixes classic project controls with strategic coordination around IP, dissemination, and partnerships.What youll be doing:Leading project planning and tracking across scope, budget, timelines, and deliverablesManaging communication and documentation for technical and grant-related reportingCoordinating internal teams and external partners across prototyping, qualification, and production phasesActing as main point of contact for audits, documentation reviews, and funding validationsSupporting IP management and dissemination activities, including conference contributions and technical publicationsBuilding relationships with academic institutions and managing collaborations, including oversight of Masters and PhD student projectsWhat youll need:Degree in Industrial, Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering (or similar)Experience managing RD or SW/HW development projectsExperience with complex, multi-stakeholder technical programmesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishStrong organisational, analytical, and documentation capabilitiesA proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a collaborative working styleThis is a great opportunity for someone looking to blend technical understanding with cross-functional project leadership, in a company working on the next generation of automotive connectivity.If you are interested in discussing this further, please contact Emily Wright @ IC Resources
