Senior Engineer – Drogheda – Data CentreOur client is a €500m turnover, multi-disciplined main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland Europe. They undertake large turnkey projects for blue-chip clientele, in Europe the focus is on Data Centres and similar tech-focussed projects. In Ireland they operate as more of a generalist main contractor working across a variety of industry sectors including healthcare / hospitals, residential, education and industrial.Due to a recent project win, our client is now seeking a Senior Engineer in Drogheda.Responsibilities * Technical Coordination of Fitout Works: Lead and coordinate the design and installation of fitout packages including white space, MEP services, security, fire systems, and finishes, ensuring alignment with data centre performance and redundancy requirements. * Interface Management: Collaborate with structural, architectural, and critical infrastructure teams to manage interfaces and ensure seamless integration of fitout components with base build and services. * QA/QC and Commissioning Support: Drive quality assurance throughout installation and pre-commissioning phases, supporting integrated system testing and ensuring all works meet Tier certification, client specs, and industry standards (e.g. Uptime Institute, ASHRAE). * Subcontractor Vendor Coordination: Oversee specialist subcontractors and equipment vendors, ensuring timely procurement, installation, and compliance with technical specifications and project timelines. * Technical Documentation Reporting: Prepare and review engineering documentation, method statements, RFIs, and technical submittals while providing regular progress and risk updates to the Project Manager and client teams.RequirementsData Centre Experience preferredMust have degree level qualification or equivalent trades backgroundMust have 5+ years’ experience in a similar roleBenefits€70,000-€90,000 + Benefits
