Our Clients are key players from the European and Worldwide Energy sector: wind farm developers, floating installation companies, subsea cable suppliers, transmission system operators, etc.We are actively looking for new talents at different levels, from junior to senior, to join our fast-growing engineering team in Genoa (Italy).Main ResponsibilitiesThe Geotechnical Engineer will execute engineering activities under the supervision and guidance of our senior personnel. Typical scope of work includes:Pipeline/Cable Seabed Stability (e.g., Cable/Pipe-Soil Interaction, on bottom stability, etc.)Geotechnical site characterization (interpretation of geotechnical data including in-situ and laboratory test results, integration with geophysical data, chart development)Geotechnical design and evaluation of foundations (driven pile design, suction pile design, etc.)Engineering assessment related to geohazardReview and analysis of engineering documents; verification of compliance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards; design appraisal and certificationCarrying out design and engineering consulting activities at different levels (feasibility studies, concept selection, basic design, detailed design, FEED, cost estimation) relevant to offshore projectsWriting and checking calculation notes, analysis reports, and material specificationsPreparing project deliverables within deadlinesDiscussing results and ideas with clientsQualificationsSkills & Experience:Master''s Degree in relevant fields (e.g., Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering)Analysis and interpretation of geotechnical dataFoundation engineering or pipeline/cable soil interaction experienceExperience in geotechnical data acquisition is advantageousProficiency with programming languages (e.g., Python, Matlab, VBA) and geotechnical software (e.g., Plaxis, GRLWEAP) is a plusExperience and ability in numerical analyses is an advantageGood communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken)Team player, self-motivated, results-driven, innovativeProblem-solving attitudeConditionsDuration: Long-termExperience: 2 to 5 yearsProject Type: Offshore Marine RenewablesLocation: Hybrid (Office Based + remote)Additional InformationDuration: PermanentType of Contract: PermanentSeniority Levels: Junior Engineer, Senior EngineerProject Types: Deep Water O&G Floating units (FPSO, FLNG, etc.), Offshore Wind Farms, Offshore Power Cables & Optical Fiber#J-18808-Ljbffr
