- You calculate in detail the strength and stability of steel structures and related detail connections according to the standards and proprietary objectives.
- Additionally, during assembly work, you must calculate the stability of the structures.
- For the calculations, you determine and collect basic data such as loads, plans, calculation methods, and schedules.
- You obtain a cost-efficient and economical product for the drawing office, production, and assembly.
- You create lifting and handling instructions.
- If technical problems are identified by the drawing office or Project Manager, you solve them, always taking into account norms, regulations, and standards.
- You respect the planning and report any problems in a timely manner.
- You hold a Master''s degree in Construction Engineering and preferably have initial experience in a similar position.
- You possess technical knowledge of materials.
- You are well-versed in the theory of strength.
- You are thoroughly familiar with various European standards; for example, the EN 1993 series holds no secrets for you.
- You are acquainted with DNV GL standards and understand FEM models.
- You have experience with software packages such as SCIA Engineer, ANSYS, and/or AutoCAD 2D/3D.
- You have a proficient command of English.
- You can work autonomously as well as in a team.
- You may be either a motivated school leaver or an experienced professional.
