If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you.We are currently seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer Junior (fresh graduates), reporting directly to the Civil & Structural Section Head, to join our Engineering team based in Italy, Rome Operating Center.About the JobYou will work within the Civil Section responsible for managing proposals, basic engineering design, and detailed engineering design.Key interactions for the Civil Engineer include internal collaboration with project teams, procurement, construction, and other engineering disciplines; externally, with clients and steel suppliers.The role and your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Design CalculationsDetail design for static and dynamic equipment foundations, basins, steel and/or concrete structure foundations, elevated concrete structures, earth retention sheet piling and piles, hydraulic calculations for underground networks, modules, steel works of offshore platforms, verification and reinforcement of existing structures.Support Services for ProcurementTechnical bid evaluation, material and purchase requisitions, vendor design/drawing/document approval, support for subcontractor and consultant evaluation, interface with other disciplines, participation in project contract reviews, document and drawing index management, schedule support, technical specifications development, support for civil construction tendering, constructability reviews, material tracking, and coordination with external consultants and subcontractors.You will have opportunities for business trips to attend technical meetings, visit vendor workshops, and collaborate with colleagues overseas. Additionally, you can follow up on engineering activities onsite, supporting construction activities.
