Key responsibilities:

• Development and programming of PLCs and HMIs
• Support customers and colleagues on Automation related Topics remotely or on site
• Participate on Commissioning and Retrofit Projects
• Software, Hardware and function test in-house or directly on site
• Preparation and execution of internal trainings
• Creation of documentation
• Travel activity of about 5%-15% (Mostly Europe)

Your profile:

• Successfully completed education or further training in a specialized field as automation specialist / engineer
• 2 years of professional experience as Automation Engineer is an advantage
• Profound knowledge of PLC development environments, preferably Siemens TIA Portal / Step7
• Knowledge in electrical CAD preferably EPLAN P8
• Knowledge of standards and guidelines in control engineering
• Knowledge of control programming in FBD, LAD, SCL / ST. (C and C++ is nice to have)
• Knowledge in network technology
• Knowledge of communication interfaces CAN, Modbus, OPC-UA
• Experience in the development and programming of PLCs and HMIs
• Knowledge of virtual machines is an advantage
• Motivated to engage and evolve with Digitalization / cloud solutions in the future.
• Motivated to learn new PLC Programming platforms
• Motivated and flexible team player
• Languages: German & English professional (C1)
