For our client we are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Production Manager . About the Role As Production Manager you play a key role in the success of the Site. Within production, you will have responsibility for the Machine Shop, Pump Assembly, Testbed and the Paintshop departments. You will manage the planning and production teams in an effective way to ensure that the manufacturing production lines run smoothly and generate a consistently suitable output of products that meet quality and efficiency standards and customer delivery dates. You are an integral part of the Pathway to Excellence (OPEX) culture to support the organization towards world class manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the management of the machining, assembly and testing department. Safety and quality are our #1 priority Be visible as a leader; focus on behavior, values and drive our Clients culture. Guiding and motivating your employees in their developments and reaching their personal goals. Responsible for the achievement of the KPIs, drive corrective and preventative actions. Accountable for ensuring that the appropriate capacity and capabilities are available to meet customer demand Monitor Absorption and Efficiency Metrics on a daily basis- Take appropriate action Meet/ Exceed KPIs agreed with Site Leader LEAN ambassador - drive continuous improvement according to the latest lean manufacturing principles, bringing our operational cost to a minimum Provide technical support to the planning, quality and machining departments. Creates a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety, performance measures, process improvements and waste reduction. Define and execute the future strategic roadmap for production (machine strategy, digitalization, automation, investments). Build a strong internal network through effective collaboration with OPEX, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to maximize added value to our Client. Working on the Hoshin Kanri matrix ( Strategic Planning) and projects related to production. Work in close collaboration with the OPEX manager and report to the Plant Manager. Sets annual budget align towards the company goals. What You Need A bachelors degree, preferable business management, mechanical/industrial engineering 5+ years experience in manufacturing leadership/ supervision Ability to coach and facilitate individually and at the large-scale level Experience with Lean policy deployment, Lean certification desired but not essential Proven state of successful train employees in productivity and safety Experience with SAP is highly recommended Experience/knowledge of pumps is a pre-requisite About Your Benefits Home office options and flexible working to accommodate all employees.
