Senior Freight Forwarder Ocean Freight LCL/FCL (Dordrecht) Be the senior point of contact in managing full container loads (FCL) and less than container loads (LCL) for international clients. You take the lead, solve challenges before they become problems, and ensure customer satisfaction across the board. That is what you do! You get it done As a senior freight forwarder, you oversee the operational execution of LCL and FCL shipments. You ensure correct documentation, monitor progress, and serve as a key contact for both clients and partners. You use your extensive experience to handle escalations and coach colleagues when needed. You work on it. How do you do this? By coordinating closely with clients, shipping lines, hauliers, and customs, you make sure every shipment runs like clockwork. You proactively look for improvements and help streamline the process. You get this done by: Processing sea freight orders in Cargowise and coordinating shipments end to end; Booking shipments with carriers and liaising with terminals and hauliers; Maintaining strong client relationships through regular updates and reporting; Ensuring proper documentation and timely customs clearance; Supporting junior team members and sharing best practices. You bring with you MBO working and thinking level; At least 5 years experience in freight forwarding, specifically in sea freight LCL and FCL; Strong command of the English language, spoken and written, and a working knowledge of Dutch (minimum B1 level); Solid knowledge of logistics systems and sea freight processes; You are an EUcitizen or in possession of a VGB certificate.
