An ambitious Activation Manager to lead Content Creation, Social Media and Community Management in the Netherlands, while driving broader marketing growth across the market . Location:
This position is based in Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Utrecht (Netherlands) , with flexibility to travel across the country and occasionally to our headquarters in Barcelona (Spain).
What Youll Do:
Content Creation & Management
- Plan, execute and deliver engaging, high-quality content (social posts, stories, videos, interactive formats) for both paid and organic channels, tailored to the Dutch market.
- Manage in-clinic content production alongside the medical teamcapturing before-and-after cases, patient stories, and video/photo shoots. Ensure proper handling of patient agreements.
- Collaborate on content briefs and scripting, including the localisation of global assets to ensure cultural relevance and brand alignment.
- Identify, curate, and amplify user-generated content while building strong relationships with external creators to scale production and deliver diverse, authentic content across both paid and organic channels.
- Stay ahead of cultural and digital trends to implement innovative content formats, challenges, and viral campaigns.
Social Media, Influencers & Community Management
- Collaborate with the global social media manager to develop and localize a social media calendar that aligns with Dutch market goals, while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure social activations support broader business objectives.
- Leverage data-driven insights to refine social media strategies and collaborate with the creative team to deliver visually compelling, on-brand content optimized for performance and engagement across all platforms.
- Oversee daily engagement across social platforms with timely, brand-aligned responses, while monitoring community metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and deeper connection.
- Research and identify key influencers and digital personalities on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, and collaborate with them to create authentic content that resonates with their audience and aligns with the brands messaging.
- Build strong relationships with both existing and newly onboarded ambassadors, serving as their main point of contact to ensure a great experience, while also tracking performance, ensuring KPIs are met, and partnership requirements are fulfilled.
Local Marketing Support
- Act as a liaison between the local team (based in the Netherlands) and the global marketing team, ensuring that marketing initiatives align with the needs and requirements of the Dutch market.
- Support the marketing team in localizing materials (emails, brochures, app, etc.) to ensure they not only sound natural in the Netherlands, but also reflect the brands tone of voice and style.
- Analyze the needs of the Dutch market and implement local initiatives to address its specific demands.
What Youll Bring
- +2 years experience in a similar role (social media management, content creation, or digital marketing), ideally in a large-scale start-up.
- Native-level Dutch & fluent in English (Spanish is a plus!)
- Proficient in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, Figma) and social media management platforms (e.g., Brandwatch).
- Deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook) and emerging digital trends.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, communicating effectively to various audiences.
- Strong eye for engaging content, with the ability to adapt strategies for different platforms and audiences.
