We are looking for a Back-End PHP Developer to join our team!
This role sits within our product development team. As a back-end PHP developer, youll work alongside our front-end and back-end teams to create new features and build new products.
You will report directly to the CEO-CTO of the company.
Activities & Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm with Product Managers, Designers, and Front-End Engineers to conceptualize and build new features for our users
- Develop and implement new features on existing platforms, while also helping define their long-term health
- Create and run tests to ensure the applications quality, performance, and scalability
- Support the operations and support teams by helping triage and resolve production issues

Qualifications
- Fluent in French, with professional proficiency in English
- At least 4 years of relevant academic training or equivalent hands-on experience in back-end development
- Strong knowledge of Laravel or Symfony
- Comfortable working with APIs and RESTful services
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular, etc.) is a plus
- Creative, organized, and solutions-oriented
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with the team on-site at our offices in Waterloo.
