Our eight brands are each amajor force in its specific business WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Forour Iveco Defence Vehicles and Astra business units, we are lookingfor a Quality Technician for the Engine and Powertrain Test Roomwho will be responsible for supervising the functional tests ofengines and powerpacks, monitoring functional and performance testson internal combustion engines in accordance with the technicalspecifications provided by the engine or powerpack specifications.The person must interface with the relevant company functions toensure that the test is carried out appropriately and safely. TheQuality Technician will be responsible for reporting issues thatarise during the tests, tracking them in the appropriate company ITsystems, and interfacing with Quality and Production colleagues toresolve them. Additionally, will create operational instructionsbased on various root cause definitions and ensure theirimplementation Main Responsibilities: - Verify that engines orpowerpacks are correctly connected to the test bench and thatsafety standards are respected. - Ensure that test parameters areconsistent with the expected test cycles (emissions, consumption,durability, power, etc.). - Monitor operational parameters duringtests using data acquisition software. - Identify and report anyanomalies or malfunctions. - Certify technical reports and testdocumentation. - Collaborate with engineers and other techniciansto analyze results and solve problems. Requirements: Education: -Technical diploma (mechanical, mechatronic, electronic) or degree,short degree in a technical field. Technical Skills: - Knowledge ofthe operation of internal combustion engines, powerpacks, andcooling systems. - Experience with engine test benches andmeasuring instruments (pressure, temperature, flow sensors, etc.).- Ability to use data acquisition and control software (e.g., PUMA,INCA, LabVIEW, etc.). - Reading technical drawings andelectrical/fluidic diagrams. Soft Skills: - Attention to detail andprecision. - Ability to work in a team. - Problem-solving skills. -Flexibility in working hours. - Availability to work in shifts. -Knowledge of basic IT packages (Matrix or similar, Office, PLM,SAP, etc.). Optional Plus: - Previous experience in certifiedenvironments (ISO 17025, ISO 9001). - Knowledge of technicalEnglish. - Forklift or overhead crane license.
