Lets power the great shift together.Investment Senior AssociateWe are now seeking a new Investment Senior Associate to join our Italian team, located in Milano. As a senior associate within the investment team, you will play an important role in delivering on OX2''s goal of becoming a hybrid IPP and strengthening OX2''s local presence in the Italian market.You will be key in preparing and executing investment decisions for onshorewind, solar PV, and energy storage projects. Your responsibilities will include project management, high-quality investment analysis, due diligence, stakeholder coordination, and supporting both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions to aid OX2s strategic expansion.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Leading investments and project teams through late-stage development and realization to final investment decision.Ensuring best practice financial modelling of renewable energy projects, with accuracy, transparency, and alignment with investment criteria.Preparing investment memos and presentations for the executive team, board, and investment committees.Supporting negotiations with lenders, investors, and off-takers.Collaborating with development, finance, and commercial teams to align investment strategies with corporate goals.Engaging with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, advisors, and investors, to optimize financing solutions.Ensuring compliance with investment policies, financial regulations, and industry best practices.Skills and QualificationsEssential:Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of experience in M&A/investments, financial modelling, or project finance within the energy or infrastructure sector.Proven experience in financial modelling (Excel), discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, and sensitivity analysis.Strong communication skills.Desirable:Experience working within utility, investment bank, or financial advisory firm focused on energy.Knowledge of M&A transactions and corporate finance within the renewable energy sector.What we can offer youIf you are not already convinced, here is some more information on why you should join our mission to accelerate access to renewable energy.
