Role Summary The Operations Manager is responsible formanaging and optimizing the daily activities of delivery operationswithin their territory, ensuring a seamless customer experience,efficient workflows, and high service quality. Reporting to theRegional Manager, the role is operationally focused, with anemphasis on short-term tactical execution, problem-solving, andteam coordination. Key Responsibilities 1. Customer Experience(Daily Operations Focus):The core objective of this role is toensure every delivery meets or exceeds customer expectations. TheOperations Manager oversees the execution of delivery schedules,proactively resolves operational issues, and ensures all processesalign with CAINIAOs customer-first standards. This includesmonitoring performance, addressing service failures, and ensuringdelivery timelines are consistently achieved. 2. OperationalLeadership and Team Coordination:The Operations Manager leads theday-to-day activities of the local delivery team, includingdrivers, delivery coordinators, and station personnel. The focus ison maintaining motivation, resolving immediate challenges, andensuring tasks are completed effectively. By fostering acollaborative environment, the Operations Manager ensures that theteam operates cohesively and efficiently. 3. Team Management contribute to team development, coaching team members, and ensuringthe teams ongoing alignment with company objectives. Ability toevaluate teams performance using KPIs, provide feedback, andpromote growth by delegating responsibilities and offeringdevelopment opportunities. TacticalExecution and Short-Term Planning:This role requires the ability totranslate strategic objectives into actionable plans for daily andweekly operations. The Operations Manager ensures efficientallocation of resources, oversees daily route optimization, andadjusts operations dynamically to meet shifting demands orunexpected challenges. 5. DSP Partnership Management:The OperationsManager supports the development and maintenance of strongpartnerships with Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) by ensuringsmooth collaboration and alignment on operational targets. Thisincludes managing daily interactions, monitoring DSP performance,and ensuring adherence to CAINIAOs quality standards. 6. ProcessOptimization and Problem-Solving:The Operations Manager identifiesoperational bottlenecks and implements immediate solutions toimprove efficiency and reduce costs. Key Qualifications Education:Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management,Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree is aplus). Experience: - At least 3 years of experience in deliveryoperations, logistics, or supply chain management in a supervisoryor managerial capacity. - Proven success in managing dailyoperational workflows and leading diverse teams. Skills: - Strongleadership and people management skills with a hands-on approach. -Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. -Proficiency in delivery management systems and data analysis tools.- Demonstrates proficiency in Excel and strong analytical thinkingskills to interpret data, solve problems, and data-drivendecision-making - Proactive and Results-Oriented: Demonstrates theability to anticipate issues, and take proactive steps to achieveoperational goals. - Ability to Collaborate with teams to evaluateexisting processes and lead efforts to continuisly improveperformance - Superior communication skills, with fluency in Frenchand English (mandatory). Other Requirements: - Availability towork flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, based onoperational needs. - Familiarity with regional logistics networksand regulatory requirements.
