Job Summary

Data Security Architect to join our growing team. Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions to protect PMI sensitive data and systems. Will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyse and assess the organization''s data security requirements, threats, and vulnerabilities.
  2. Design and implement secure data storage, processing, and access control mechanisms.
  3. Develop and document data security policies, standards, and procedures and act as the line of defence for Data & Analytics domains and Data products throughout the project and programme lifecycle.
  4. Deep understanding of encryption, authentication, and access management systems.
  5. Industry best practices across technologies Snowflake, Matillion, Web applications, graph technologies, AWS services, and NOSQL DB used to build data pipelines and data products.
  6. Collaborate with IT, Engineering team, Domain data architects, and Business teams to integrate security controls into new and existing systems.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices, and recommend improvements to the organization''s data security posture.
  8. Provide training and guidance to end-users on data security practices and policies.
  9. Assist in the investigation and resolution of security-related incidents and breaches.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor''s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
  2. +5 years of experience in data security, information security, or a related role.
  3. Hands-on experience with data security technologies, such as firewalls, encryption, identity and access management, and security monitoring tools.
  4. Familiarity with data management concepts, data storage technologies, and data processing workflows.
  5. Understanding of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO, OWASP).
  6. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certifications in information security, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
  2. Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
  3. Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
  4. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools.
