We are seeking a Project Manager for a 6-month maternity cover (July to December 2025) to support the implementation of a well-established capacity building programme focused on food safety, energy management, and circular economy .
Project Manager - Capacity Building (6-month maternity cover)

It delivers structured capacity building programmes that support public and private sector stakeholders in developing countries, aligned with global development goals.
Description
This is a highly operational role -you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering programme activities across multiple countries, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the rollout of programme components in collaboration with international experts and regional coordinators.
- Oversee training-of-trainers sessions and distance mentoring for participants and pilot organizations.
- Apply results-based management (RBM ) principles to monitor progress and contribute to performance reporting.
- Develop high-quality programme documentation, including success stories and reports.
- Liaise with internal teams (, logistics) and external stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.
- Provide input to the annual workplans and performance monitoring tools.
Profile
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria :
- Proven experience in international coordination or capacity building projects, ideally in Africa and/or Asia .
- Great writing, speaking and communication skills in both English and French (minimum C1 level); Spanish is a plus.
- Strong knowledge and application of results-based management (RBM) , including narrative and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to roll out structured programs (not design from scratch).
- Experience working with or around standards, quality infrastructure, or conformity assessment .
- Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Soft skills:
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities across regions and topics.
- Strong interpersonal skills, culturally sensitive, and collaborative.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while knowing when to escalate.
