We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Tech Lead to oversee the development, customization, and optimization of SAP solutions.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP ABAP programming, technical architecture, and system integration. You will lead a team of developers, collaborate with functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality SAP solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring knowledge transfer from the client team and building a knowledge database with the new team, ensuring it is properly updated and maintained.
Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and best practices
Design, develop, and optimize custom SAP applications using ABAP, CDS views, OData, and SAP Fiori/UI5
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Ensure high performance, scalability, and security in SAP developments
Work on SAP system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations (including SAP S/4HANA)
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in SAP systems
Build and maintain a knowledge database, ensuring all documentation is updated and easily accessible
Stay updated on new SAP technologies and drive innovation within the team
5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on technical leadership
~ Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and enhancements
~ Knowledge of SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, etc.) Experience with SAP S/4HANA development and migration projects
~ Familiarity with SAP Workflow, Adobe Forms, and SmartForms
~ SAP ABAP certification
Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
Knowledge of SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFCs, Web Services)
Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
