The successful candidate will work within the Industrialization Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Design functions, collaborating with engineering, R&D, quality, procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing to support the sustainability of new and existing Hitachi products and systems.Monitor portfolio products related to rail control, focusing on cost, obsolescence status, and material lead times.Collaborate with engineering, quality, procurement, project, and supply chain teams to address obsolescence issues proactively.Coordinate with supply chain to stay updated on obsolescence, engineering tools, forecasts, master planning, and bidding needs.Contribute to defining product roadmaps, providing short, medium, and long-term insights.Share obsolescence issues within the technology team, driving mitigation and solution actions through product roadmaps.Implement continuous process improvements aligned with global signaling and technology targets, incorporating lessons learned.Evaluate costs, planning, constraints, and risks for activities under the CoC responsibility across all bids, maximizing value and adhering to standards and metrics.Maintain knowledge of product documentation and promote value analysis activities.Critically review products to identify initiatives that improve quality, costs, and lead times.Required Skills/KnowledgeAt least 6 years of relevant experience.Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to work effectively in an international environment.Proficiency in reading technical documentation and manufacturing routing.Experience in industrial production and industrialization, with the ability to interface with R&D.Knowledge of SAP (S/4HANA, APO, IBP).Familiarity with product data management.Desired Skills/KnowledgeDesign of electronic boards and/or electronic safety systems.Management of technical topics such as engineering design and testing.Experience in manufacturing electronic boards or devices.Education/QualificationsBachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Informatics.#J-18808-Ljbffr
