ServiceNow Developer - Freelance - 6-12 Months - Remote
Next Ventures are working with a global consultancy who are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join their clients team.
As the ServiceNow Developer you will design, develop, and customize solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, ITSM processes, and have the ability to build scalable and efficient solutions.
This role is for a 6-12 month contract + extension working remotely.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom applications and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform.
- Create workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and data integrations.
- Customize ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using APIs, REST, and SOAP web services.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions..
- Perform unit testing and support UAT for ServiceNow solutions.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong knowledge of ITSM processes and modules.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and ServiceNow Glide scripting.
- Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Service Portal.
- Understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
