OMRON Healthcare is looking for a Marketing Director to lead the OMRON Healthcare EMEA Marketing organisation.

In this position, you will be leading the EMEA marketing organisation, be part of the EMEA Management Team and report to the Managing Director EMEA.
The role will be based in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands, with frequent travel within the EMEA region.

Key activities:
- Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate a dynamic (mid- and long-term) OMNI-Channel marketing downstream (brand activation) and upstream (product development) strategy, targets and budget for the entire current and future product portfolio (including OMRON Connect).
- Develop a winning category strategy for OMRON Healthcare EMEA, based on 3C analysis, the 4Ps and market and consumer insights, and translate that into the 3-years plans and targets (sales, SOM, penetration).
- Develop, implement and execute tactical marketing plans and projects for the OMRON Healthcare EMEA related to both new and existing products and services (OMRON Connect) (including price, place, promotion, profit and people) based on measurable KPIs and best practices.
- Stay ahead of market trends to identify opportunities for growth, for both existing and new products and services, based on solid customer, market and competitor research and insights.
- Drive the identification, development and execution of future growth markets, monetization opportunities and new business development opportunities (across channels, existing new product categories, within the EMEA region).
- Generate product requirements and definitions for product development (for central RD) by analysing economic trends, buying habits and the demographic character, taste and preference of the consumer. Codrive nebulizer/respiratory product development through our RD team in Italy.
- Responsible for all phases of new product development and product launches, including research, design, financing, pricing, positioning, packaging and marketing.
- Increase the brand equity and brand recognition of OMRON Healthcare throughout the EMEA region, based on a smart marketing communications strategy and ensure a consistent application of the brand guidelines across all channels, countries and products.
- Lead, manage and develop the EMEA Marketing team.
To succeed in the position, you will need:
- Mature and international Marketing leadership talent with relevant product marketing and services knowledge in appropriate sector and in an international setting (at least 15 years)
- Graduate with ideally a Masters Degree in Business, Marketing and/or Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
- Knowledge of OTC sales, pharmaceutical market, FMCG and/or a medical environment is advantageous
- Matching the Global OMRON Core Competencies and values
- Profound communication, stakeholder engagement and presentation skills
- Excellent in the English language, both written and verbal
