Your key responsibilities
- Help build trust and confidence through transparency, clarity and consistency.
- Report on the fairness in all material respects with which a clients audited financial statements are presented.
- Provide the organizations we serve with greater confidence, better perspective of their business and enhanced transparency into the audit, in order to deliver audits of the highest quality.
- Review and audit the impacts of global multi-year finance transformation program.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have:
- A bachelor/masters degree in either Accounting, Audit & Management Control, Corporate Finance, Business Administration or Economics; a Swiss university degree is an asset.
- You should be in possession of a certified public accountants diploma or other similar diploma (Swiss CPA, DEC, ACCA, etc.).
- 4-5 years experience in external audit; an experience in a Big Four is an asset.
- Strong experience in working with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required; French is a strong asset, any additional language is considered as a plus.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational and project management skills by efficiently planning and coordinating audit engagements, optimizing resource use, and meeting strict deadlines without compromising work quality.
- Experience in managing junior and intermediate auditors, managing field work of international companies, group audits and private client sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate well, establish strong working relationships, maintain a positive outlook, and work under pressure.
- Strong understanding of IT impacts on financial reporting and an interest in digital audit techniques and IT integration.
