VIDELIO HMS is looking for a highlyqualified/motivated profile with solid training in mechanicalengineering and preferably experience in the naval/theatricalsector (mechanical movements) for stable inclusion in its staff(dynamic and stimulating working environment, with professionalgrowth opportunities). Work location is either in Monfalcone (GO)or Genova (GE), with travel in Italy/abroad (shipyards/operationalcruise ships). Main Responsibilities Develop projects (componentsand complex mechanical systems) starting from the feasibilityverification phase, with preparation of detailed constructiondrawings, definition of technical/functional characteristics,creation of related bill of materials and all necessary technicaldocumentation. Perform technical analysis and structuralcalculations to support the design. Collaborate with othercompany departments to ensure system integration and theachievement of all project objectives at the technical level. Assist the Business Team with technical consulting and supportduring bidding phases. Provide technical assistance to thecompany''s Purchasing Department for the definition of purchasespecifications. Monitor the progress of the production of theproject and intervene to make any improvements/changes. Conducttests and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards. Solve technical issues and provide innovative solutions. Supervise the production and installation of mechanical systems(on-site operational phases). Support the maintenance ofmechanical systems. Required skills: Solid technical-mechanicaltraining and education (Mechanical Engineering or equivalent studypath). Ability to perform feasibility analysis of technicalrequests (analysis of RFQ, RFI and Tender Specifications). In-depth knowledge of mechanical drawing (3D CAD preferably withSolidWorks and 2D CAD with AutoCAD). Excellent knowledge of theMicrosoft Office package. Experience in defining a project plan,assigning and coordinating the necessary resources to complete theprojects within the agreed times and budget. Experience indefining the functional and technical characteristics of theproject, components, materials, manufacturing technologies, andregulatory specifications governing the relevant sector. Abilityto manage priorities, good communication skills, and apredisposition to teamwork. Ability to establish partnershipswith customers to understand their needs/intellectual property,etc. Good written and spoken English knowledge. Willingness totravel for work in Italy and abroad "Nice to have" skills: Experience in designing innovative mechanical solutions. Skillsin the electrical and automation/control field. Proven experiencein a similar role, preferably in companies specialized in theconstruction of machinery and lifting systems in thetheatrical/naval production sector. Ability to coordinatemultidisciplinary teams. High degree of organization,detail-oriented, and multitasking work capability. Soft skills: Passion and strong drive to constantly learn, innovate, and helpthe company grow. Excellent problem-solving skills and attentionto detail. Ability to remain calm under pressure with anobjective approach to resolving issues in difficult and/or complexsituations. Possess a great attitude and willingness to interveneand provide assistance where required.
