The IoT sales expert Vodafone IOT Italy srl is the primary sales lead for IoT opportunities, working closely with Vodafone Italy account teams and also with Indirect sales (agents, SAM). As a sales specialist, you will be responsible for developing prospects and managing a range of customers:Sell a wide portfolio of products and services including IoT Global Platforms, Connectivity, Connected Products, Value Added Services, and Custom Projects.Identify and acquire new IoT contracts for Vodafone customers.Define pricing and terms, ensuring approval through internal negotiation processes.Develop a good understanding of customer needs, products, and vertical markets.Manage relationships with key customers to ensure ongoing growth of connections, revenue, and retention.Align with the country/regional sales channels as directed by the line manager.Key accountabilities and decision ownershipAchieve sales targets, including Total Contract Value and Incremental Revenue.Work with internal teams to develop appropriate pricing, marketing, and technical solutions.Build and maintain relationships with direct customers and partners.Contribute to growing market share.Build a strong sales pipeline.Ensure delivery of all financial targets, including revenue and total contract value.Manage the full IoT sales cycle from identification to implementation of large-scale opportunities.Collaborate with customers, Vodafone leadership, account teams, and third parties.Establish relationships with key decision-makers up to C Level.Who you areCore competencies, knowledge, and experienceProven solutions sales track record.Ability to operate within and navigate complex global organizations.Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills.Knowledge and experience in telecoms technologies and IoT.Understanding of data usage profiling and commercial models.Experience in communicating, presenting, and negotiating at C Level.Key performance indicatorsTotal Contract Value.Service Revenues.CX / rNPS.Must-have technical/professional qualificationsGraduate-level education.Proven solutions sales experience.Not a perfect fit?Worried that you dont meet all the criteria?
