ACCOUNTANT A vacancy in our client''s office in Maastricht has arisen for the role of a full-time Multi-entity Accountant. It is part of an International Family Office and reporting into the Luxembourg entity. The successful candidate will be based anywhere in The Netherlands but should be able go to the Maastricht office a couple of times a month. THE JOB: Accounting function for companies: Timely and accurate accounting for group holding companies from A to Z (including accounting for investments and loans, cash, FX, debtors and creditors, payment request preparation)Quarterly management accounts preparation with analytical review commentary Generate quarterly management review files reconciling to Trial Balance Account for decisions/resolutions taken by the directors which may impact the financials Prepare financial statements including application of IFRS for investment entities Deal with stakeholder, tax or audit queries Cash flow forecasting and planning Prepare VAT returns and inputs to advisors for tax returns Board Meeting support function Prepare financial papers for board meetings for entities administered THE CANDIDATE PROFILE: Experienced qualified accountant (ideally several years in a similar role)Familiar with local GAAP (IFRS knowledge an advantage)Ideally some knowledge of Dutch tax principles Experience with FX transactions Effective communicator both verbal and written Sound command of English Happy to work in Holland. The office is based in Maastricht, and the person would have to come here a few times a month Strong PC skills with a proficient working knowledge of Excel Word Attention to detail and accuracy Adaptable, professional attitude, team player Highly organised, independent, flexible and happy to work in a small office environment a two person team Integrity and values driven.
