Role: Senior Compliance Officer
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
We are seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join an impact-focused fund. This role involves advising on compliance matters, participating in risk assessments, and overseeing the implementation of regulatory changes. The Senior Compliance Officer will support the team in navigating an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Advisory: Provide guidance to colleagues and management on compliance issues.
- Risk Assessment: Participate in risk evaluations and product approvals.
- Monitoring Evaluation: Design and perform compliance monitoring tasks, and review the effectiveness of policies and procedures.
- Regulatory Implementation: Lead and oversee the implementation of regulatory changes, and contribute to regulatory evidencing.
- Support Collaboration: Assist other teams in demonstrating compliance with regulations.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Several years of relevant experience in the financial sector, with a Bachelor or Master of Law.
- Competencies: Knowledge of AIFMD, MAR/D, Wft, and Wwft; experience with regulatory changes and compliance monitoring; strong organizational and planning skills; detail-oriented with pragmatic problem-solving abilities; client-focused team player comfortable with stakeholder management.
- Additional Skills: Familiarity with EMIR, GDPR, Sustainable Finance Regulations, and Benchmark Regulation is a plus.
- Languages: Fluency in English
